AMCA - Core Conditions of Entry & Rules


• Age Requirements: Riders can start in AMCA trials events from the age of 6. Minors (under 18) must have a parent or legal guardian sign the Parental Agreement and be present at the event.


• Licensing: You do not require an AMCA licence to compete in our events, however you need to to adhere to the licencing rules stated here.  


• Medical Fitness: You must confirm you are not riding against medical advice and declare any conditions that could affect your ability to ride safely or lose balance.


• Safety Gear: Helmets must meet approved British Standards (e.g., BS6658, ECE22-05). Full long-sleeve riding jerseys, gloves, and purpose-made, knee-length boots are required.


• Machine Requirements: Motorcycles must be equipped with two efficient, independently operated brakes (one foot-operated) and appropriate trials tyres. No Motocross or Enduro tyres are permitted.


• Event Conduct: Riders must operate responsibly at all times, abide by the grading routes (Expert, Clubman, Non-Expert, Beginner), and compete entirely at their own risk.
