Thank  you to the clearing out and setting out team for the 10 sections.  Thanks to John Crawt for signing on.A brief survey of some of the riders concludes that the sections were quite tough, as shown by the number of retirements in the red and yellow route riders' results,  I know some of the blue retirees were more  for social and responsibility issues!  I hope the retirees did at least enjoy a ride round in the glorious weather, and a note has been made to slacken the severity of the lower routes for next year. Hopefully any lumps and bumps are subsiding! Maybe the refreshment van also made the experience more enjoyable? The scores were on the high side but there were several ties, requiring most cleans to separate them. Alan Peach topped the Experts, with tied scores for 2nd and 3rd place. Jonno and Sam Reilly best of all theBlue routes on 11 apiece, Jonno 1 clean better off.  Tony Dobbs best on the 040 route.  Red route best score 050 class Frank P showing the way on a mere 17. Next best in the Clubman class tied on 36 each were Cass H just pipping Simon G with 2 more cleans. The juniors gave a brilliant account of themselves posting scores in equivalent to 4th and 5th in the adult classes. Well done Oz and Ben.  Thanks to everyone who supported the event.  Our next trial on the 18 May, will start at 4.00pm to allow for the training course in the morning from 10.00-3.00pm. This is aimed especially at Red and Blue riders who want to improve their skills. It is being run by an ACU recognised trainer and there are still a few places left at £25 each if anyone is interested. Please get in touch via Facebook or contact 01435 830749.  Finally thanks to Leigh W who has made  new scoreboards for the club. Greatly needed and very user friendly, much appreciated.
