March Club Trial Results
Roger and Leigh who did a great job setting out, with a mix of rideable and more challenging sections. Thanks also to everyone who helped to clear up and sort the flags -many hands make light work. The wind certainly made itself felt at the start and finishing area, but in the woods, it was a lot more sheltered and surprisingly dry. The treetops were certainly whipping back and forth in great arcs. Good to meet Keith Crook who joined recently and drove all the way from Dover to meet us and ride. He seems to have enjoyed a new piece of ground, once he had found the venue! We had a few retirements, a couple due to machine failure, but marks were fairly consistent amongst the regular riders in the various classes. Special mention must be made of Oscar, who beat most adults
on the red route, he is certainly gelling with his new Gas Gas 125. Good riding Oz. Flo also tried a few reds at the end and was standing on the pegs as well. Mason ran out of time to complete the trial.Glad to say that 2 or 3 riders riding again after various ailments, managed to finish without any damage.Hope to see you on Good Friday. The training day in May is filling up fast, 9 places left, so book up soon.
